NOMEX® Work Boot Laces from DuPont™ are made from a high performance fibre - a patented combination of 95% NOMEX® and 5% KEVLAR®, a highly rigid and durable aramid.
NOMEX® Work Boot Laces provide an optimum of flame resistance, heat protection and chemical resistance. It is self-extinguishing, does not melt and does not drip.
What makes a good heavy duty lace for steel toe cap boots?
Heavy duty work boot & safety shoe laces are meant to work together with your safety footwear to make them as safe and secure as possible.
The laces should be made from materials that are almost unbreakable and should remain tied. Materials like nylon and kevlar are two materials that are common today in good quality laces.
Like most materials involved in quality PPE equipment, laces for shoes and boots take a lot of abuse, especially on safety boots that are made for welding or even used as fire protective boots.
The main requirements towards strong & reliable work boot laces include non-slipping, non-stretching, non-fading abilities.
Cleaning intensity or frequency does not affect the flame resistance of the Nomex laces.

Our policy lasts 60 days. If 60 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
The item(s) must be in original condition (showing no signs of wear), with all tags remaining in place, original packaging and labels.
Returned items must also be sent with the relevant Stitchkraft.co invoice as proof of purchase.
