WELLMAXX Comfort Insole - Unbeatable Wearing Comfort For Work Boots & Safety Shoes
Empowering workers to move like athletes.
That goes for runners, sneakers as well as for steel toe cap or composite toe cap boots and safety shoes.
Infinergy®, a closed-cell particle foam (E-TPU) developed by Germany chemical giant BASF, is implemented as a wear-resistant midsole in safety and occupational shoes (the WELLMAXX range), providing athlete-approved energy return while readily absorbing the impact of heavy loads in your safety footwear.
Proven results - feeling maximum comfort and reducing fatigue in your safety footwear.
"No midsole has so far produced a greater energy return. Technically, the new cushioning technology makes life easier for all team members and staff whose job involves a lot of walking at work – a major factor in most industries and work environments because it means a significant improvement in preventing fatigue and joint problems“, confirms Stefan Tintrup, orthopaedic shoemaker and leading foot health expert at Elten in Germany.
The research behind comfortable work boots.
Researchers at BASF let the individual granules blow up like popcorn. During this process, its volume increases approximately tenfold to produce oval foam beads with tiny, closed gas bubbles inside which make the material very elastic and eventually provide the desired rebound effect in the WELLMAXX insole.
Infinergy®'s comfort compression sole technology also helps reduce fatigue at work:
What are the key features of comfort insoles?
- Low density
- High elasticity
- Outstanding resilience
- High abrasion resistance
- High tensile strength
- Good chemical resistance
- Good long-term durability in a wide temperature range (–20° to over +40° C)
Infinergy - The brand name for comfort.
- The world’s first expanded thermoplastic polyurethane (E-TPU)
- Combines the properties of TPU with the advantages of foams
MOLECULAR STRUCTURE
The molecular structure of expanded, thermoplastic polyurethane is made of hard, but also elastic elements.
FOAM BEADS INFINERGY®
The sole core consists of fused Infinergy® foam beads with a diameter of 5 to 10 millimetres.
